The Consular Section of the Mozambique High Commission in London deals with bilateral consular issues relating to the movement of Mozambican citizens residing in the United Kingdom (UK), as well as in territorial jurisdictions covered by this Diplomatic Mission, including citizens of the United Kingdom and other foreign nationals domiciled in the UK or otherwise (eligible for assistance at the Mozambique High Commission in London as their first point of contact for administrative procedures directed to and related with single or collective persons in the Republic of Mozambique) requiring travel clearance to Mozambique or other consular services meant to produce a legal effect in Mozambique or vice-versa.

The Mozambique High Commission in London also covers Ireland.

             The Consular Section assists:

  • Mozambican nationals living in the UK who require services such as applications for Consular Registration, Registration of Birth and Marriage, Military Service Registration, Certifications and Attestation/Legalisation of documents.

PLEASE NOTE that effective January 1, 2017, and in conformity with previous notices, the Mozambique High Commission in London will no longer renew Passports. All Mozambican nationals holders of the old non-biometric Passport are advised to travel to Mozambique in order to apply for new a biometric Passport to the Migration authorities. Alternatively, the Embassy of Mozambique in Portugal can also receive applications for new biometric Passports.

  • Citizens of the United Kingdom and other foreign nationals domiciled in the UK or otherwise* requiring travel clearance (visa) to Mozambique or other consular services emanating from a British public or private entity, within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland meant to produce a legal effect in Mozambique or vice-versa, such as Certifications and Attestation/Legalisation of Documents.
