   Cervejas de Mocambique increases profits
 
 

The brewing company CDM (Cervejas de Moçambique) announced on Monday that it had received 6.7 billion meticais (over 235 million US dollars) in revenue in the financial year that ended on 31 March. This represents a growth in revenue of 26.6 per cent compared with the previous year.

   Niassa exports macadamia nuts to Europe
 
 

Tenga Lda, based in the northern Mozambican province of Niassa, in July exported its first Macadamia nuts to Europe.

Minister of Land, Environment and Rural Development, Celso Correia, has confirmed that the 150,000 cubic metres of wood seized so far in “Operation Trunk”, in the north and centre of the country, will be sold to the highest bidder at public auction.
